J.OURNAL feat. JENNIFER THOMAS - NINE TWELVE

(dir: Matthew McGee/USA/5 min)

A collaboration between musical poet J.ournal and classical crossover pianist/composer Jennifer Thomas, Nine Twelve hearkens back to the day after the infamous terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. A day of sadness for sure, but also a day of unprecedented love, compassion, and unity. More short film than music video, Nine Twelve is a “video poem” that vividly captures the emotion of that day but also brings a message of reflection and hope that resonates deeply in America’s current perilous political climate.
